NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to appear for NEET 2025:

Educational Qualifications:

Essentials academic requirements include passing of Class 12 Board examination or being appeared for the exams and must have taken Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.

Minimum Marks:

General category: Minimum 50% aggregate.

Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate.

General-PWD: Minimum 45% aggregate.

Age Limit:

Candidates should not be more than 17 years of age as of December 31, 2025, but they should have at least been 17 years of age. It should not be later than December 31, 2008 for the date of birth.

There is no upper age limit.

Nationality:

Dependants of Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Citizen of India, and Foreign Nationals.

Additional Criteria:

This has means that only candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as additional subjects qualify.

Applicants enrolled in an open school may also apply.
